Tournament Day

By Andy Czeh

Ping

That's the first sound I hear

It's the very first sound that enters my ear

I'm going to try win with all of my might

And if I don't finish on top of the field

It's because I played light

With fresh cut grass and all the birds chirping

Off to the first tee with coach just slurping

His good ol' Mountain Dew is what he's always drinking

Drinking it fast, until he starts singing

Walking of the 18th with scorecard in hand

I tell coach 72, he says, "You are the man."

Radcliffe, Omdahl and Stand in with the same score

Rockis and Bob come in and played poor

Four 72's and two 94's

288 as our team score

D.L. goes down

Bob Gorden is sad

Everyone else is so happy

The Rams move on to state

Hopefully we'll play great.
