I Remember

I remember my trip to D.C.

The breath taking monuments

Jefferson, Lincoln, Washington and more

The White House, Washington's Manor

The Memorials'

WWII, Korean War, Iwo Jima, everything

 

I will always remember the friends I made

From here and everywhere

Twenty minutes to eighteen hours

I'll always remember them

 

I remember the zoo

The pandas, giraffes, cheetahs, anything you could imagine

Three whole hours later and still more to see

The smells of all the stands of foods

The sounds of the animals

It's breathtaking.

I will always remember the zoo.

 

More importantly I will always remember my trip to D.C.
