Sad but Happy

On an early morning I woke up inviting a friend over to watch a movie and sleepover.  Then I clapped my hands and time immediately stopped.  My friend was frozen and I saw a black creature flying by.

I started to fly.  I saw the evil creature and caught it but it slipped out of my hands and went into the ground.  Then I went into the ground myself.  He took me to floors I didn't know were in my apartment building.  It was amazing, but still I was trying to figure out what this creature was.

I started to have different thoughts about it.  Maybe it was nice or shy and I was the first human he had met.  This was the first time I ever saw this thing.  He was, well, black and scary but friendly.  then I noticed I was really flying.  It was fun and I saw everything from up high.  It was so beautiful.  Then I looked at the black thing...it was smiling.  I was so confused.  I thought this thing was mean and was trying to kill me.

Then he said a name I couldn't quite hear it but it sounded like Hiroshyma, so I tried it and yelled it out.

Hiroshyma!  I yelled.  Then I thought to myself, I have to say something else so I said, where are you taking me?

Hiroshyma said, "to the village."

"What village?" I screamed.

"The Northwest Village.  You have to save the king," he said with a soft voice.  He sounded nervous and was shivering.

I was scared.  Was he dying?  He started falling?  No! I yelled his name, but he kept falling down and down.  I flew down and tried to save him.  I didn't know why I was chosen.  I didn't know I was powerful and I was pretty sure no one else knew either.  But I am here to save the king.  Hiroshyma never got a chance to tell me why.  I looked at his face and then listened to his heart.  He was dead.  I started to cry and cry.  It was now a nightmare.

Night had fallen.  I better be getting to the village to save the king, although I had no clue where he was.  She thought of something.  Back when she was young, her mom used to say, "east of the sun" over and over again.  So I thought, go east of the sun.  That must be where the village is and that must be where the king is.  So I flew for two whole days.  I kept wishing that Hiroshyma was with me.

Finally I found the king.  He was very very very sick, so I did everything I could do and when I say everything, I mean everything.  When I snapped my fingers he became happy so I snapped them any chance I could.  Then he fell asleep, so I went to sleep myself.  The next morning I got up and tried to wake him, but someone said he had died in his sleep.

I flew home.  When I got home I clapped my hands and went back to sleep.

Every time I feel sad I snapped my fingers to make me and the king and Hiroshyma happy.  Sometimes my mom asks "why do you snap your fingers all the time?"

I say to make my friends feel happy.
