My Perfect Painting

A blank canvas.

Mixing my colors

purple, red, blur, yellow.

I start to paint,

the colors falling on

the canvas

like snow.

Adding more colors,

scarlet and lilac,

making mighty whirls

spirals, slashes, and streaks.

The paint is music to my ears

a violin.

My painting is fitting together

like a jigsaw puzzle

millions of microscopic lines and dots,

the canvas is almost covered now,

I'm finished!

my masterpiece shines like

an emerald.
