One day, Tiger, Lion, Monkey, Toucan, and Zebra were sitting together.  They each had their own identity.  The lion was shy.  He was the King of the Jungle but did not act like the King of the Jungle.  Monkey, Toucan, and Zebra were worried that someone could take advantage of him because he was so nice.

Tiger took the most advantage of him by wrecking Lion’s house and stealing Lion’s food.  But Lion did not do anything about it.

One day, Tiger humiliated lion by tripping him and making him fall into the water, right in front of his friends.  Lion made a gigantic splash in the water.  Then his friends laughed at him.  Lion got out of the water with a mad face but he did not do anything.  He just walked away.

The next day, Lion tried to stay away from Tiger but Tiger had set a trap for Lion.  Lion walked right into it.  The trap picked up Lion in a net.

Lion yelled, “Let me out!”  When no one helped him, he used his claws to rip the net and jump out.  He ran to his house and took a nap.

When he was sleeping, Lion had a nightmare about Tiger taking over the jungle.  When he woke up, Lion called his friends.

“How do I scare off the tiger?” asked Lion.

“Roar!” his friends said.

Lion roared.  He didn’t think he roared that loud but his friends said that it was the loudest roar they had ever heard.

“Wow!” exclaimed Monkey, Toucan, and Zebra.

“Really?” said Lion.

“Yes!” they said.

Then, Lion’s friends taught him how to use his claws to fight.  Lion started practicing with his claws.  One day later, Lion and Tiger met.

Lion roared. Tiger did not move.

Lion walked forward toward Tiger.  There was a string on the ground and Lion stepped on it.  It was another trap.  A net captured Lion.

“Ha, Ha!” said Tiger.  Then, Tiger ran off.

That night, it started raining and Lion became even madder than before.  Lion broke out of the net and ran home.

The next day, Lion and his friends tried to hunt down Tiger but they couldn’t find him.

“I’m scared,” said Lion.

The group split up into groups of two.  But they still couldn’t find Tiger!

They returned to Lion’s home.  They were talking to each other when Lion said, “Where could Tiger be?”  The group had a sleep over at Lion’s house while they thought about this.

The next morning, they went out to search for Tiger again.  When they finally found him, Lion asked, “Why are you hiding?”

Tiger said, “I’m not hiding.”

Lion roared.

Tiger walked by Lion and Lion said, “Let’s fight.”

Tiger said, “It’s on.”

Lion jumped on top of Tiger and started scratching at Liger.  Then Tiger and Lion started rolling around until Lion was on the bottom.  Tiger pelted and scratched Lion.  Then, Lion threw Tiger off of him.  Lion pelted Tiger in the head until finally Tiger said, “Ok, Ok!  You are the King of the Jungle!  I will stop humiliating you!”

Then, Tiger ran off.  Lion figured that he had all the confidence he needed to stop Tiger from humiliating him.  Lion was happy and his friends were happy too.
