One day I woke up on a Monday and my mom said, “Wake up you guys you’re going to miss the bus.”  We woke up, did all we needed to do and we went to school.  My friends were talking about this big huge roller coaster that nobody ever went on.  I said, “Where is the roller coaster found?”  My friend Jayla said, “In 6 flags.”  I said, “You guys want to come and go to six flags on my birthday and test it out?”  They all screamed, “No what is wrong with you!  You know we’re only in 4th grade!”  Dais’jah said, “Are you nuts, you about to give us a heart attack!”  “How fast does it go?”  I asked.  “FAST!  Probably about 140 mph,” said Jayla.  “Well okay looks like we’re not going to 6 flags,” I said.  They said, “Wait I do kinda want to go.  How do they know if it’s that scary?”  “Yeah how do they know if it is that scary,” I said.  “So do you want to go?” I said.  They said, “YES!”  I jumped up and danced crazy.  My friends walked off and said that I was embarrassing them.  So when I went home I asked my mom and she said, “Who’s all going?”  I said, “You, Dad, Dais’jah, Jayla and me.”  She said, “Do you know how much that costs?”  “Well, no.  I’ll think about it okay,” I said.  She said, “Okay.”  I walked somewhere and stood by a building thinking.  What if my mom says no and all of their mom’s say yes you can go and they get mad at me and don’t talk to me anymore.  I better start saving up I thought.

So the next day my friends said, “What did your mom say?”  I said, “Nothing she just asked me if I knew how much it cost.”  Jayla asked, “So does that mean we’re going or not going?”  I said, “Yes that does mean we’re going but you guys need to save up.  You guys all get allowance.”  They all mumbled under their breath.  “I don’t want to save up,” Dais’jah said.  “I don’t have to save up,” Jayla said.  Okay then I would just save up.  “Okay, okay we would save up,” Dais’jah said.  “Who said we?” Jayla asked.  “Okay me and Dais’jah would just save up and if we don’t have enough you might be out of luck,” I said.  “Okay I would save up but what if my mom needs some money?” asked Jayla.  I said, “Then give her how much money she needs all right.”  “Okay,” said Jayla.  When the bell rang I went home and I started working hard so I could get more money for an allowance.  My mom said, “What are you doing?”  I said, “Oh just working hard.”  “Why?” asked mom.  “So I can get more money for my allowance,” I said.  “I already got the money to go!” said mom.  “Oh thank you mom you are the best.  When are we going to go?” I asked.  “Tomorrow,” said mom.  “Tomorrow.  Why tomorrow?  Why not next week or something like that?” I said.  “No!  We’re going tomorrow or never!” said mom.  “Okay then Ill go call my friends now,” I said.  I called Jayla fist and she said, “What I’m not ready to go!”  “Well that’s what my mom said.  We’re going tomorrow or never!” I said.  “All right I’ll go,” said Jayla.  “Did you call Dais’jah yet?” asked Jayla.  “No not yet I wonder what she’s going to say,” I said.  “Well I have to go now Alonna,” said Jayla.  “All right bye,” I said.  Now I need to call Dais’jah.  So I called her and she answered.  I said, “Hello can I talk to Dais’jah?”  She said, “This is her.  What’s up?”  I said, “We’re going to 6 flags tomorrow!”  “Oh that’s good.  WHAT we’re going to 6 flags.  Which ride are we going on?” said Dais’jah.  I said, “The one that you guys were talking about.”  “Oh that one!  Well I’m going bye,” said Dais’jah.

The next day I jumped out of the bed and I got dressed really fast.  I ate breakfast then my mom said, “Get in the car so I can pick up Dais’jah and Jayla.”  I got in the truck then my mom picked up Jayla first.  She was shaking.  Then we picked up Dais’jah.  She wasn’t scared or nothing.  Then we went to 6 flags.  When we got there we went straight to the roller coaster.  There were 3 seats across and I was glad.  We got on the roller coaster and we asked each other are you scared no I’m not scared are you scared?  The roller coaster started we all held hands.  All we did was just scream.  We went in circles.  We went upside then came the steepest hill we went down it.  We couldn’t breathe at all the wind blew into our faces.  Then we went in circles again upside down and another steep hill.  Dais’jah threw up I tried to hang in there.  But I couldn’t so I threw up too.  Jayla didn’t when we got off the ride we was so dizzy I almost fell on the floor.  Then my mom asked, “How was it?”  I said, “Awful.”  Dais’jah said, “I threw up.”  Jayla said, “It wasn’t nothing.”  Then we went on more rides and we ate and we went home.  We were exhausted I took my bath.  My mom said, “How do you think your birthday was?”  “It was great!”  I said.  “Well okay goodnight honey,” she said.  “Goodnight,” I said.
