Are You Afraid?

            Nicole!  Nicole!  Wake up you ol’

            I’m up!  I’m up!

            Get ready.

            Why?  Do you know what time it is?

            I said get ready.  I’ll be waiting in the car.  Don’t go back to bed, or else.  (five minutes)

            Jessica and Breanna are like my sisters, they’ve been so nice since my dad died in the plane reck.

            Breanna, Nicole and Jessica have been friends since they were in 4th grade.  (door opens back up)  Let’s go get Jessica, let me call her.  (numbers beeping)  “Hello, Jessica be ready we’re coming to get you, remember to grab it!”  “The present you got her”  She said in a murmur.  Drive fast its 11:00 a.m. already really we have to be there at 1:00 p.m. or else we’ll miss the new roller coaster!  Roller coaster?  Yeah.  It’s the biggest roller coaster ever!  It’s supposed to make you really sick, really sick.  “It’s gonna be so fun,” Breanna said.  Let me call Jessica.  (numbers beeping on phone)  Hello we’re waiting.  Okay, uh huh, no, yeah, gotta go.  Well she’s right here yeah.  Still there hang up!  (Breanna hangs up)  She does not know what hang up means.  What does she want me to say it in a different language (door opens).  I guess you want me to say hang up in Spanish or Jamaican or Chinese, let’s go! 

            (Nicole says in an angry voice!)

            (Door opens, Jessica climbs in)

            Happy Birthday!  Jessica screamed.

            Here’s your birthday present.

            “Thank you Nicole,” said Jessica foolishly.

            30 minutes later.

            “Are we there yet?”

            “Let me turn this corner, then we will,” Breanna said impatiently.

            “Finally we’re here let’s go see that roller coaster,” Jessica said.

            “Let’s go Nicole,” Breanna said anxiously.

            “I think I’m going to go get a little snack,” Nicole said harshly.

            “Are you afraid?” Breanna said.

            I’m scared of heights member that time we went to Jamaica .  I was so scared like way bad and I was being a little chicken staying in my seat belt not getting up.

            “Okay.  Then I’ll see you when I get done!”

            “Wait Breanna, I’m coming.”

            Are you sure?

            Very sure I want to get over my fear.

            I love going fast!  Let’s go catch up to Jessica!

            I hope she saved us a spot in line.  Nicole if you’re scared put your head down and close your eyes real tight.  (20 minutes later)

            Wow!  That was so fun!
