Skiing in Colorado By Kailey Going up the chairlift, passing all The pine trees, skiing off onto The slippery snow. Attaching the harness To me. Daddy skiing, pulling me Behind him as he goes. Going On the bumps, Dad losing his Ski and chasing after it. Falling down the mountain And gliding to the chairlift For another ride. Standing, waiting for the chair To come behind me. To life me Up and take me to the top Of the mountain. Daddy holding my Hand as we get off and Go again. Gliding, down as if There is no end of the mountain Skiing fast, feeling the wind against Me and noticing the sun setting. Tomorrow we can go again. |
