The Tree

In the tree, the great pine tree
I bury my fish friends
deep in the trunk of my tree
Deep in the trunk of the tree
I bury memories of my friends
deep in the tree the great pine tree
I bury the laughter of my family
Deep in the tree the great pine tree
I bury my stuffed friends
Deep in the tree the great pine tree
I bury my imaginary pals of the past.
In the tree my treasures are safe
in the rain they don't get washed away
and when the wind blows they don't blow away too
and when it is hot they don't melt and when there is a blizzard
they stay warm
my tree is my memory.
