Rain Day

It’s a rain day
A lot of people outside
I am caught in it
As I am going to the bus stop
The wind blows mte back
Its making a sound
That is enormous
Its saying
Thump thump thump
As it rrr, the wind and the rain.
When I get back in the house
I am soaking wet
Just as a breeze
Comes through
And the rain stops
The sun comes out
As I go inside
I say mama
That rain
Is like a thump rrrrs.
