I am a Flame

I am a lone flame in a bonfire

created by a human.  They keep me

alive and fee me paper and save me from the wind.  

In the night I starve, I go out.

But in the morning a boy runs out with paper

to feed me, by now I am just a spark

but all the same he feeds me

paper bit by bit by bit again I am flame.

I am a lone flame in a bonfire

I too have a voice.
