Grandma's Work

As I go to grandma's work I hear the howling

of the humans inside.  I walk right up

and mom writes her name.  Here comes grandma

with her cane. And now we walk to the loud

large lunchroom.  We walk to pick up trays.

Pick up pretzels and pops.  Sit in your

seat mother and grandma say.

We pick people to sit with then we sit.

We eat.  Then we walk grandma back upstairs.

Mom says so long until next time.  We say good-bye until next time Grandma.  But then

I don't want to walk away from grandma's work.
