All Beautiful Things

An emerald shinning in the light like glitter
The lilacs blowing in the wind, the lovely
whisper of the wind, and the secrets it brings,
the scarlet velvet dress so soft, so clean,
the dress as pretty as the sound of the violin,
the water that splashes when someone
jumps in a pool, music sounding like a million
butterflies pumping their wings, and me
staring into the night sky thinking
all of these things.
