Swimming

I love the smell of chlorine on my skin

after a race.  I love getting a medal when I win

or when i get done with a race and wipe myself off

with my chamois or taking a shower--the texture of the water

up against my face.  The sound of people yelling and screaming

go, swim, kick kick and the sound of your teammates cheering

you on.  I love competitive swimming.
