The Stable by Hannah Clark
The stable is silent and comfortable. It is dry, smells like fresh hay and the door opens. You can sleep in the hay bales.
It is narrow, only four windows--they are purple and yellow. It is a rush in the dawn.
There are no spiders, mice, lizards or snakes. I dance and twirl in the stables. I give the horses water and food.
