My Birthday by Jade Sweet
Its summer. The sun's beating down, hotter than ever. We're all sitting down, ice cold lemonade in our hands. It's June 30th, my favorite day of the year. The whole family is a line, waiting for my grandma's delicious food. Our stomachs talking to us and our mouths watering. I quick eat my food and go outside.
Yes, it's time for the water balloon fight. Me and my cousins tossing the balloons, coming at me in a blink of an eye.
We go to the lake and all go swimming. I go canoeing. I go to the middle of the lake and the seaweed is so high and all of a sudden my cousin tips me over.
We go fishing and then open my presents. It's my birthday.
