In My Closet by Piper Van Steenwyk
In my closet an imaginary land, a portal to a whole other world, somewhere I can hide when I am sad, a quiet place where I can think and write, somewhere I practice my clarinet or violin, somewhere I can make my own little world of color, the emerald colored walls, my own mountain of clothes, papers scattered everywhere, a million little reasons to not do the dishes, a place where I can imagine the universe in a bubble a place where I can sleep when I have guests, my closet. |
