For Mom by Byron
Your voice is like the soothing sound of a horse on a cobblestone road. Like a bird flapping its wings, like a calming prairie whistling, a tune as soft as a baby's laugh. Like a Mickey Mouse sing-along like the fire crackling from the heat. Like the splish splash of the rain. I will tell you your voice is like the light of a firefly, like the crunch of the snow under my boots, like the click clack of a woodpecker pecking a tree, like the sound of water pouring from a facet.
