Why

Why? A commonly asked question

but never appears to be answered.

Why do things seem to happen to you

but never anyone else?

Why when you’re at the lowest point possible

someone will brighten your day.

Why when you’re at a peak of happiness

someone wants to bring you down.

Why when everything starts going your way

everything falls apart.

Fate, chance, destiny? Who knows?

Questions that can’t be explained or answered.

You have to think it’s supposed to happen

but you yourself have to determine.

Maybe it’s for the best, for the greater good, maybe it’s just life.
