Everyone Leaves By
Dillan M. As my mom watches me drive away, I know she has a sense of discomfort I know she doesn’t like when I leave She understand when I have to go to work or up town My sisters off to collage and moved out now It’s quiet She’s getting to know the world better My mom had to watch her leave and soon me too She knows this Yet she will still miss me I can’t wait to be on my own Having the opportunity to make something of myself My mom wants me to do the best I can I try to make her proud of me I know she is She still hates my leaving though Knowing where I’m at keeps a peace within her I’m going to miss her when I move out for good I’ll still visit all I can I’ll try Everyone leaves at some time. |
