The Power of the Ocean

The water is calming.

The wind is cool.

I sit and think.

I remember the past and I imagine the future,

It brings me to my own little world.

But it is only water.

Others, as well as myself,

Seem to be drawn

Drawn to the salty smell and the caw of the seagulls.

Taken in by the natural beauty.

Blown away

By its sheer magnificence.

You can't reach us anymore,

The ocean has taken us,

taken us to a different world.
