Peas to the Right & Potatoes to the Left

Walking through the garden
In the early evening air
With peas to the right, and potatoes to the left
The garden was a forest of color
We sat down and ate the sweet strawberries
Counted the number of bug on the black berry bush
Breathed in the fresh, cool air
Then went home with mud between our toes.
