Why
is it hard for us to say the pledge of allegiance?
I look around and see others in my class standing as if they have for hours.
Do we no longer understand the meaning and importance of the pledge?
Are we too cool to stand and say what we believe?
Do we no longer believe in God who watches over our nation?
Are we no longer indivisible with
And what about Justice for all?
Do we no longer live our lives in freedom under the proud red, white and blue?
