My Favorite Place to Be

I would wake up early eagerly

Togo to the store and see

My favorite friends and family

It was my favorite place to be!

I would walk, talk, play, and pester

Those who worked so busily

Along would come a customer as happy as could be,

I would sit under the cart and ask questions inquisitively

It was my favorite place you see!

Around and around the store I would go,

Until I could spot my cousin Joe

I would hop on the carry out cart, and outside I would go

It was my favorite place you know!

Until the day the flood carne

I guess I never knew the pain

But the memories still remain

It was my favorite place on Main .

I think about it everyday

And I can proudly say

It will always be in my heart to stay

It is still my favorite place today!
