Midnight Music

In the middle of the night

Before I go to sleep

I hear outside the rain fall down

as the sky begins to weep.

As I walk to the window

I hear a wolf howl its cry

And I stand and wonder

Why oh why.

I look outside the window

And I hear nearby

Thunder rock the earth

And lightning dances across the sky.

As I walk back to bed

I hear the rain kiss the ground

And before I fall to sleep

I hear one last sound-­

Midnight Music……
