Time stops,
as I peer out the
window,
and look into the dark
midnight.
The only light is a
pale moon,
shining through the
endless rows of trees.
Millions of stars are hidden beneath a soft blanket of clouds.
I listen to the soft
rain,
dropping lightly to
the ground
from the pure black
sky.
The wind, whistling
quietly,
is no louder than a
whisper.
I hear the frog's
deep, endless croaks,
smell the fresh pines,
feel the breeze,
and gently close my
eyes,
where I drift into an
unknown world,
and I know,
this is where I want
to be.
