The Fun Year

When I was 11

I had so much fun

I was in 3 activities

Volleyball, basketball, and cheerleading.

I played and played as hard as I could

When I was practicing for a tournament

I had fallen a few times

I didn't think anything of it

So I went on practicing.

The next day when I woke up

I couldn't walk

Or put any weight on my right leg

I started to panic

I screamed

My mom came

She took me to the hospital

The doctors took X-rays

We waited.

The doctor came back

He told us that my hip came out of the socket

We cried.

The next day I had to rush into surgery

I was in the hospital for 5 days

After I got out

I was on crutches for 3 months

To this day

The pain has not stopped.
