The Dumb Parade

The elevator was old and scary.

The moon was full but barely.

We stood to watch the parade.

Along came a wolf drinking lemonade.

Next came a giant spider.

He was then lit on fire.

Snap! Here comes a king on a throne.

He looks funny; I'll throw him a bone.

I saw them cut that float with a jigsaw.

I would just throw it in the river haw, haw, haw
