Just waking up

Smelling the smoldering coals

Getting out of the sleeping bag

Shuttering to the cold

Walking to the stove

Opening the door,

Feeling the heat

Waking the fire,

Burning bright

Closing the door,

Hear the fire roar

Walking back to the bag

Lying down,

Back to sleep.
