My Chinchilla

When I got my chinchilla

I got him a silver cage

He told me to make it pink!

So I did what I was told

And painted it pink

Then I tried to feed him

Chinchilla pellets

But he said, I want carrots!

SO I gave him carrots.

Then I made him a bed

From some of my mom’s fleece scraps

Then he said, I want a teddy bear!

So I got the smallest one off my bed

And gave it to him.

Maybe I should have gotten a fish instead.
