Midnight Mirror

Midnight mirror on the wall like an emerald

On the wall.  Have some lilac around the edges

Let all the colors stream like waves in.  Why

you look in, I don’t know.  See the starfish? 

I do so!  See the reflection swish and swirl,

just let it twirl.  I see a sea of blue a sea

of color full of ripples.  Midnight mirror

why do you make me wonder so.
