I am a Marker

I am a marker I flutter with colors

like red, the color of a very red rose

and orange, one color of the very hot sun

or maybe yellow, if you  prefer the color

of bright night, like the middle of a flower

now how about green?  It's the color 

of a very green bean. What about blue, 

the color of a the ocean blue, now purple, 

the wonderful color of a sweater, now gray 

is the color of a wolf when it cries, and black 

is the color of the good night sky.  Violet's 

the color you see when you are happy or sad, 

it lightens the day.  Pink is the color of a dog 

coming around the block, light blue is the 

color of a dolphin gliding through the ocean.  

Light green is the color of dying or maybe 

lying grass. So many things to be when 

you're a marker.
