Cat for a Day

 I reached over to shut off my alarm clock, but I was surprised to see my hands were replaced by paws!, I checked for a tail, sure enough !!! Then I saw whiskers! This was exciting! I pounced out of bed, ran around the room, and let out a loud “MEOW!!!l" ls it true?'? Am I really a cat!

I walked down the hall, and looked at my mirror. I was really a cat! I had bIack,0range, peach and brown fur, I even had whiskers! It was amazing. Then I went into Mom and Dad’s room, but they were not there. I raced down stairs, I tried to watch some t.v., but I remembered that I had paws!, not fingers, I could not turn the t.v. Then I heard a "MEOWW!!!!" I looked to see if any one was there, it was Ruby!, my cat.

Ruby seemed to be surprised to see another cat in the house. Then Ruby was tired from all the excitement she simply yawned and fell asleep. I was so exited I wanted to play, I was getting thirsty, I went to a big dish, took a big drink ..... `

After I had a nice big long drink I looked around and realized I was in the bathroom, I I was drinking out of the, OH NO!!!!!, the toilet! All of a sudden, I heard a loud barking noise. It was my dog Rafi! I was glad

to see him, but I was so soared that I ran away under the table. .

I was under the table, when I saw a ball with a bell inside, I knocked it around for a little while. Suddenly I had ringing in my ears. It was very very disturbing. Ding, dong!, more ringing in my ears, but it was the doorbell this time. The door opened, it was the cleaning lady, Andrea came in and had something weird in her ears. She looked like she was exhausted. She ran in and got a cool drink.  Then she saw a note on the ‘fridge, it said : Dear Andrea, sorry but we are out of town this week. Love Missy.

I came rushing in, and said “can you please clean my room?", but all that came out was "MEOW!!l!!”. Andrea went up stairs to clean, then Andrea cleaned the whole house, Andrea left afterwards. I began to get hungry, I thought I could have a good bowl of cereal, but I then remembered I could not open the ‘fridge to get milk, and I could not open the cereal box. So I went down stairs, saw a cat dish, and I found another cat there! I tried to talk to her, but Ruby seemed to not understand me. Then I tried a bite, it was awful.

I went up stairs, walked past Rafi, who barked at me. I was startled by Rafi and I slithered under a near by bed. I was hungry and tired, I put my head down and took a rest. My mind got kind of foggy and sleepy. Before I knew it my eyes closed. The next thing I knew, I found my hand on my alarm clock. I was not a cat any more! It was fun being a cat.
